This is one of Evpatoria’s most prestigious Sanitariums: its graceful nine-story building is a peculiar calling card of the modern resort. The light open-work buildings with balconies and verandahs, rich with fresh air and sunlight, form the architectural ensemble, splendid inserting into the surrounding landscape. Well planned park with an abundance of roses and other flowering shrubs complements the external facade of this health center. The building complex is situated on 10 Hectares in one of quietest corners of the city’s resort area.
Its attractiveness for relaxation reposing increases with further acquaintance with the conditions of life here: all sleeping buildings are connected to the medical building by a covered gallery so that visitors can come lightly dressed in any weather for all procedures and visits to the dinning room or club.
Its medical base may be the envy of many of the city’s Sanitariums. Highly-qualified physicians, depending on the diagnosis, will prescribe modern treatments and mud and water therapy.
At this Sanitarium, treatment is conducted for diseases of the circulatory system, structures of motion, nervous system and upper respiratory passages as well as for non-tuberculosis respiratory system problems and gynecological diseases.
The most modern medical-diagnostic equipment is used in the service of recovery. At its own water therapy clinic, all hydro-pathy procedures use sea water. The heated couches maintain an even temperature for the mud. Other equipment helps make the gynecological and rectal mud procedures pass without difficulty. Also effective are the ultrasonic inhalation, Rapa hydro-massage of the gums, underwater stretching of the spine. At anytime during rest, one can drink medical mineral water as a fountain runs in the hall.
