Sanitarium Primorsky
Under the Evpatoria City Executive Committee.
Under the name Premorskaya Sanatorium, this was Evpatoria’s first health clinic. The sanatorium opened August 1, 1906. Over the years the sanatorium underwent many transformations.
In 1997 the sanatorium became the city’s public property. In 1999, it was transformed into the public enterprise.
The Lenin Sanitarium has a rich and interesting history – in the past, this was a hospital (named for the Empresses Alexandra Fyodorovna) for Russian soldiers of WWI and in the 1930’s it was an orphanage for Spanish children.
The clinic accepts adults with children from 4 to 16 years old. The clinic employs mud and water therapy procedures, massage and other procedures using Evpatoria’s climatic factors.
The sanitarium has a beautiful beach, athletic courts and playgrounds, a club, school, library, pool and mud and water therapy clinics and is located right in the best part of town, in the city center 100 meters from the Black Sea.
The stone two-story buildings have their own heating and hot water-supply. Rooms have all or partial comforts and have the advantage of the old-style buildings with high ceilings and thick walls which are especially comfortable – cool in the heat of summer and warm in the winter.
The sleeping building is located next to the Black Sea shore along the pedestrian embankment.
The sanitarium functions year-round.
The sanitarium’s club organizes games and other activities for children while their parents undergo their procedures. Consultations on school subjects are conducted for older children.
The complex has a summer campsite located on the seashore in the city with separate two, three, four-person lodges with partial comforts. The campsite has a bar, cafe and parking lot.
Price per person per day is from 40 to 67 Hriven.
